Hey, just looking around some blogs, seems a pretty nice platform you are using. I'm currently using Wordpress for a few of my sites but looking to change one of them over to a platform similar to yours as a trial run. Anything in particular you would recommend about it?

I had work with Kaji Nishoka in Bondey farm during early 1976. He was fully suported by Mr. Jambay Dorji, Shamba and Dolley all khenpa. I know Jambay was from Sobling in Nangkor Gewog and settled in Punakha. Daho Nishoka had done very good work and reached to people, he gave lot of money to these poor people and did good work that is creation of service centre. He also spend lot of money I donot know the purpose, I saw a bulldozer, a tractor at Marangdut, a motor boat at Tungadempa waiting for decay. Dasho Nishoka is remeber by Japan Sahib with the Panbang suspansion Bridge. I did face his audit being Shemgang DAO. Thus I feel if any one had that much of resources shemgang would have turn some thing. All temporary setting Of IVDP collaspe leaving behind bridge, mule track and above mention stuff.
It is good that he should be remember for his effort to khengpa and Paro valley,AMC, NASPP and many more to Agriculture sector and a daughter to Dechen (Bhutanese Wife)of Tong Village in Shemgang.

Govinda sir , you have done a excellent job informing the the Bhutanese youth about the Bhutanese Friends. We are looking for more such writes up.The article gives how the agricultural development takes place in remote parts of Bhutan. The writer like RP Subba also should come with such research work on the political issue of Bhutan. He should bring on light how Mashur chhetri was killed by the despotic ruler. We need to bring more articles on Bhutan and the Bhutanese to introduce our self in the international arena.
Dhanyabad Govinda sir.

Govinda Bhai,
Well written and researched article. I feel this is very memorable and emotional to me because when I was first appointed as extension officer by Agriculture Department in Zhemgang in 1996,

I have travelled the complete remote areas of Zhemgang for nearly two months.
In the tour I have carried hundreds of new varieties of vegetable seeds to be distributed to the farmers and form the vegatable growing committee in all villages.

All through my journey, in the very remote places (walk through the dense forest for more than months, I have seen some paddy terraces, some orange trees, cardamom plants and Agori plant. When I asked, how this is growing in such a remote place? The answer was, Dasho Nishoka gave us, he was our god... These kind words to him made me feel for the poor people living in the remote areas.

Not to boast of my work, but when I distributed the vegetable seeds free and dug the farm with them to show how to grow new vegetables in a modern way, I saw few old women crying.

When I asked them what is the problem? They replied in kengpa "ngchi me lu kidu bekhan la Dasho nisokha thay whyen, Dasho nisokha gaye na ney, sung ghee mee otho kidu bi khan la dasho, weyra thay wheynta, meaning "For we farmers , the only person who gave us kidu (decree, help) was dasho Nishoka only. After Dasho nishoka, you are the only govt person who gave us help and seeds free and no other person has arrived like this before directly from the office". This remark has given me the best of job satisfaction and life long memories of Bhutan.

I have personally seen how deep Dasho Nishoka have walked in the most remote part of Bhutan.
I feel very proud when i think to those remarks from the poor old farmers in Bhutan about him and acknowledging my small contribution.

Just to add bit of my experience, when we were walking from Gosing to kattong, the wild bear has chased us, (my potter was deaf, it was raining)we had to run for hours before stopping thinking the bear was still chasing us. In the mean time, the leeches were falling from the tree all over the body. Finally, we took refugee in the open stone in the cliff to rest. My connotation is how those poor people are managing such lives? No infrastructure yet in that part of the distrct.

Thanks govinda bhai,
Parsu
