Such taboos teach each individual to adjust in the corresponding society. It provides certain responsibilities as an individual, family, society, neighborhood and ultimately as a global being. Pabimaya, a mother of 3 children, the eldest daughter preparing for SLC examination is unfustificable to elope. There is time for every deeds and nature is so kind for all the living being. It doesn't give stagnation at any cost. Pabimaya might have chosen second husband before the delivery of first child. She spent almost 20 years with her Karki husband and it is baseless to elope to Timsina boy after such long period of conjugal life. Considering physical, social and emotional factors also, her role as a mother is much more significant than chosing the next boy. She sacrificed her life in the name of blind love but gave a deep wound to the family. There will always be the pinching scars for the children as they lost the beloved mother. Whatever condition may be, mother is so dear to all of us. May her soul rest at peace. May the almighty give strength for family to walk in all wake of life. Society is govern by norms and values.
