Dr Dhakal elected BNDP Veep

Damak, October 20:  The central committee meeting of the Bhutan National Democratic Party (BNDP) held recently has elected its general secretary Dr D. N. S Dhakal to work on the capacity of the party vice president.

According to party leaders, he will act as party chief. Party president R. B. Basnet had died a month ago.

The party source said Dhakal will act in that capacity for the period of five years until president is elected.

Dhakal is the founding general secretary of the party. Bhutan News Service
