One dies in road accident

Beldangi, October 24: Santa Tamang, a resident of the Belgandi II camp died in an road accident Thursday and his husband, seriously injured is undergoing treatment at the AMDA hospital, Damak.

The couple was hit by a tempo heading to Damak from Beldangi. The old diesel tempos, flossed out from Nepalese capital Kathamandu had been operating in this root since few years.

The transport entrepreneurs had handed over little sum of money to the deceased family for rites and agreed for additional compensation according to land’s law when rites are finished.

In the mean time, some local individuals manhandled reporter of Bhutan News Service Arjun Pradhan who reached AMDA hospital to avail the condition of Santa’s husband after the accident.
